On the first anniversary of perhaps the darkest day in American history, we all remember. We remember the pictures, the images, the sounds, and the feeling of despair and hopelessness. We remember the deaths, the wreckage, the smoke and the heroes. To all those that dedicate their lives in service to their fellow man, I offer thanks, gratitude, and appreciation. To every policeman, fire fighter, medic, and service-man, know that your steadfastness does not go un-noticed. To the families that lost loved ones, the people that lost friends, fathers, mothers, children, and siblings, I pray for you and your families.
God bless America.
